The program highlights recent video production by Syrian artists and their reflections on the upheavals of the past 20 months. In great numbers, Syrian artists have taken an active role in the events and expressed themselves against violence and oppression, thereby often using the internet as a space for artistic expression. In a series of new videos and films, the program, “Moving Images” presents a selection of these very personal statements.
